Did you know that the first generation of Renault 5 had a sedan version? Yes, it's true and it was named 7 (or R7). It was also known as the "Siete", because it was produced in Spain by FASA-Renault, between 1974 and 1984.
Nowadays, Renault has 2 retro-styled models in its line-up: The 4 E-Tech, which is a subcompact electric crossover and the 5 E-Tech, a supermini electric car. Don't you think that there's enough room for a third retro-styled model? This model could be the 7 E-Tech, a subcompact electric sedan which is actually the sedan version of the 5 E-Tech. As for the name, it's inspired of course by the original R7 from the 70s and by the fact that the R7 was actually an R5 sedan.
